Want our best tip for hosting a summer gathering? Keep it simple! Opt for these seasonal (and easy) recipes that require only 5 ingredients and can be prepared ahead.



Mango Salsa Cropped

3 cups mango, diced
¾ cup red onion, diced
1 jalapeno, minced
½ cup cilantro leaves, chopped
1 tbsp lime juice

Combine all the ingredients in medium bowl and season with salt to taste. Serve with fresh tortilla chips.



caprese salad compressed
3 heirloom tomatoes, thinly sliced
8 oz fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced
½ cup basil leaves
¼ cup reduced balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

On a large platter, arrange tomato slices, mozzarella and basil. Drizzle with reduced balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.



Strawberry spritzer Compressed
2 cups strawberries, sliced
½ cup basil leaves
2 cups lemonade
2 cups lemon lime soda
1 bottle white wine

Muddle the strawberries and basil in a large pitcher, then pour in the remaining liquid ingredients. Serve over ice with a sprig of basil.
